Sarah pursued her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Iowa State University. Her education laid the foundation for a career that blends artistic expression with problem-solving skills. After graduating, Sarah gained experience at both commercial and residential interior design firms, honing her skills in project supervision, client presentations, and technical drawings.
What sets Sarah apart is her hands-on approach to design. She supervises installations and deliveries independently, produces client presentations and technical drawings, and handles procurement for the firm's projects with precision. Her ability to source, price, and coordinate fabrication showcases her attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence.
In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys baking out-of-the-box items for her family and participating in a weekly virtual book club with friends. These activities highlight her creativity and her love for cultivating connections, both essential elements in her approach to design.
Sarah’s favorite building is the La Pedrera-Casa Milà in Barcelona, Spain, designed by the ground-breaking architect Antoni Gaudí. Its organic appearance and structures push the limits of design and construction, inspiring her to be bold and imaginative in her designs.
