Michael O’Neil thrives on the challenges and creativity that come with large-scale projects like hotels and multifamily housing. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative design, he enjoys transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. His commitment to excellence is reflected in every design phase, from initial planning to final renderings.
A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Michael has been a professional architect for 17 years. Over the past 8 years, he has honed his expertise in hospitality design, working on various high-profile projects. His skills encompass construction documentation and administration procedures, materials and finishes, ADA design and survey analysis, space planning, and more.
Michael finds joy in spending time with his two daughters outside of work. Whether at the beach, camping, or traveling, they cherish their adventures together. A music enthusiast, Michael loves discovering new bands, attending shows, and collecting vinyl records—a passion he shares with his oldest daughter, with whom he often goes to concerts.
Michael's admiration for Tadao Ando’s architectural philosophy is evident in his work. He is particularly inspired by Ando’s use of site-cast concrete, natural light, and glass, with the Church of the Light and the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art being among his favorite buildings.
