Kevin Dworak
Senior Associate
Kevin has practiced architecture professionally for over twenty-eight years with experience in multiple scales of residential design and construction. In professional practice, he has served as principal in charge, lead project manager, and project architect for small and large complex design projects. Kevin served as owner and leader in a private design practice executing high-end residential design services to clients in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Montana, South Carolina, and New York. His focus on design excellence, professional collaboration, and a keen awareness of client needs and expectations has led to successful projects throughout the United States.
Kevin earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Architecture and Planning where he also served as a professor for both undergraduate and graduate design studios. For over seven years Kevin served as an architectural design studio professor at the Catholic University of America, School of Architecture and Planning, where his favorite course to teach was the junior third-year studio in multi-unit housing. He has served as a guest design critic for architecture design studios at the Drexel University, School of Architecture, and at the Philadelphia University, College of Architecture and the Built Environment.
Kevin continues to work personally on an ongoing urban research project entitled, The City of Desire. In his free time, he is an active artist with a sketchbook always in hand, a painter in acrylics, a musician in guitar, a runner, a rower, and a father to two lovely daughters.
